This is a pretty cool site, if you are bored:
http://www.smokybendranch.com/
It is a live web cam set up on a corn feeder. You can normally see deer early, late and at night.
But if too many people are trying to access it... it will not let you on. Right now, there are 11 deer feeding on it and a nice 11 pt walking around in the background...

finally got on 8:50 AM, nothing there now, but it will be fun to watch
not illegal

by chance
Feeding deer in Mississippi is not illegal. Hnting aound it is. Arkansas and Texas allow the use of grain to lure deer into range.
Want to find out how good your deer hunting spot is? Try using a grain feeder and a trail camera at nite. You might be surprised at what you are feeding--or--what you are not feeding.

I finally got in,but can't get the cam to load live. What am I doing wrong? All I am getting is a picture and the deer aren't moving. Is this what I'm suppose to be seeing or should I actually be able to see the deer moving?

it seems to be on a 10 second or so delay, the deer will move about every 10-20seconds

Been watching since 8:30, haven't seen the first deer, only action I've gotten was the guys filling up the feeder, and the little birds eating, the feeder just came on so maybe I'll get to see one pretty soon.

GH22..... at 5:30pm our time, it is still daylight there..... and I normally see several deer feeding. even though it might be difficult to see, try it one night. you can see the eyes, and pick out horns if you look closely.
