Have any of you ever used the decoys Macks Prairie Wings has started to make? Money is kind of tight so I was trying to get the most bang for the buck.

There are basically the same as the Bass Pro Shop Redhead decoys that are made now. There have been some complaints about the paint not holding up as good. You can get a doz flambeau mallards everyday for $20, paint does pretty good.

I have three dozen of the Bass Pro. It's an Avery product. I heard that the BP dekes were some of the first batch. Mack's were back ordered and that batch now has better paint. I have seen paint chip off of mine but no worse than a flambeau. BTW - they look extremely real when the sun hits them. I'll buy them from now on....a duck can't tell if a pea sized chunk of paint has come off...if they get that close the safety should have been off a long time ago

I bought mine at BP in Dallas. If you get any, drive to Ark and get lots of them because they are going to cost just shy of a G&H by the time they ship them.

I just got some of the bass pro ones myself. They are the most realistic i've seen in that price range.

Picked up a dozen at Mack's & they do look really good. Noticed the paint did seem to come off when wrapping the strap weights though. The ones I got were $20/doz. & were marked "paint sample" - they may have improved them since, but for the price I'm not complaining too much.
