What pager company has the best coverage in rural Mississippi? We currently use USA Mobility and are looking at making a change.

Don't change... I work for USA Mobility.... And need a job..

Just to let you in on a little secret.. We are the largest Paging company in the world.. We have 3.4 Million pagers in service.. The next largest is verizon with about 1 million.. So I don't know that you will find better coverage from any other company..

Chances are you might just need a different type pager on a different freq. that will get you better coverage..

Do you know who your sales rep is? I may be able to help you out here.

1. Pagers have a longer battery life than cell phones.
2. Pages have better "in building" penetration than cell phones.
3. Pagers are cheaper than cell phones.
4. When Katrina hit.. About the only thing that was still working were pagers..

Most of our customers are Govt, Emergency, Healthcare and Large companies..

For example.. if you patient that goes into resp. arrest in a hospital. you can push 1 button and send a page to up 256 different people instantanously..

Police, Fire and Rescue use it for it emergency availability..

Large companies like Boeing use it because Cell phones won't work in their HUGE plants... Plus a 5.00 pager is a lot cheaper than a 25.00 cell phone especially when you have 10,000 employees using them..

Heck, sounds like we all need a pager for to alert us to new post. Maybe they could be for emergencies like when someone mentions a public spot. Hmmmmm

Heck with the new posts, we need a pager to know when GH22 has a date with a female so we can witness the mating dance in person.

watch him 'mate' isn't really at the top of my list of things to do today.
