Well I got third place at the junior puppies but the brother to mine took 1st and best of all I ran last and my pup made the BIGGEST RETRIEVE of her lil life. Last bird down and she brought it home but she was a lil funny acting as she has never retrieved a bumper with duck tape on it. Well those that missed it just missed it when I unwrapped the tape I had an ENGAGEMENT ring inside it and my now FIANCEE was taking pics as I began to walk towards her. She had no idea what was going on and was trying to get away from Buckman since he was FILMING it. Well I got her attention and I dropped to ONE KNEE and asked her to marry me. I heard "what is he doing with that bumper" from the crowd at hand and then "oh my god get a camera" as the crowd errupted. Those that were not there thought a puppy had nailed a test with the cheering.

I was helping judge the pups.....I didn't know what the hell was going on when rick stepped out to throw that mark with this big ugly bumper with duct tape on it.......Didn't think that pup would ever get that bumper back. Looked over as Slade kept saying "something is going on".......Then saw Justin hit a knee........huge round of applause. Awesome. Congrats Justin as Jennifer is a very sweet lady and way over your head.......

Congratulations! You'll always remember that run in the puppy stakes....

I have to be the luckiest woman - I got the man of MY dreams and the best puppy in the world all in one day!! I still cant believe my ring is in that bumper hanging out of Dixie's mouth dragging across the ground.

I see you took my recommendation on a screen name. Again congrats on your upcomming wedding. Needless to say I expect a inventation to be posted on the gun Dog forum for all if us to attend, Of course the Dogs must be invited also JK about the dogs attendance.

Trey - yes, i loved your recommendation for a name. Your very creative, ill take any recommendations you have for planning a wedding outside by a lake too. I have no idea how to do something like that. I am thinking of having a certain lil lab bring the ring down the aisle in a bumper though.

And of course all ms duck members and dogs will be invited. We could even turn it into a fun training day I have a feeling that my dog training land is one of my best qualities to my fiance and his friends....but thats ok.....i can live with that!
