My Grizzly is constantly in water almost to the muffler and I've never felt it slip. I guess it depends on how tight you have it.

i had a grizzly 660 for several years and never did anything but change the oil. never one minutes problem. you have to get them pretty deep to make the belt slip and if you do there is a drain plug on the bottom of the belt housing that you can pull and once it drains you are back in business. the best thing to do when you buy it is buy or make a snorkel kit to run the vent hose from the belt housing and get a set of 28" mudlites and you will be set..... just my .02 cents.

I have a grizzly 700. I also had a Kodiak 450 before the grizzly. Neither one has ever had the belt slip. On the 700s the intake is up at the gauge pod. You would just about have to have water up to the handlebars for it to be problem. I also have the power steering and will never have another bike without it. It is the best thing ever on an atv. It would really be a no brainer which bike to pick for hunting and working situations. The grizz has low range, front differenital lock, the rincon has neither. If you want a more sporty ride the rincon has that.

i've got the 450 kodiak.. had a stick jam up under the bike and knocked the hose lose from the clutch housing.. water, leaves and mud poured onto my belt... i was there.. had to push it out of the water and then drain it... other than that one crazy happening, havent' had a lick of trouble..

I have the 680 rincon and nothing beats a fuel injected bike. Due to don't have to worry with chokes or it wanting to be stubborn on cold mornings. and as for throttle response it is great with plenty of low end power.

The 700 grizzly is also fuel injected. And I agree with loneagle it sure is nice not having to deal with a choke on cold mornings.

I have the 700 grizzly also with no problems. Would buy another one tommorrow. I know people with the rincon and they like them also. The grizzly has power steering, lockers, more ground clearance, and more low end power that is why I chose the grizzly. The biggest problem with the rincon is big tires lug them down alot with no low gear.

Buddy just exchanged his 06 rincon for a new rubicon. The rincon lacked low end power which he very much needed. Just avoid the brute force.

same as above for me.. i had the rincon but ended up tradeing it in for a rubicon because it had no low gear to pull a trailor in the mud or anything.. but other than that it will go fairly fast but if you plan on pulling.. NO

yea eagle hunter's rincon was bad weak he traded for a new rubicon and it has so much more power i have a buddy who has a 700 grizzly with 31 inch outlaws and it has so much power the front tires hardly stay on the ground so in my opinion i would definetly go with the griz
