Barking in Kennel Problem

Postby fowlmood2 » Tue Aug 12, 2008 7:29 pm

I've got an interesting problem. Generally speaking, my dog is NOT a barker, however, whenever I put him in the dog box in the pickup truck, he will bark. It is constant barking regardless whether it is a 5 minute ride or an hour ride. It is primarily when we are moving, also. He will do it all the way to training and all the way back. It sometimes isn't as bad on the return trip if he's wore out. Any thoughts on how to cure this problem?

He is 11 month old YLM.

Any advise would be appreciated.

ditto on the bark collar.....some don't like them, but for the chronic barker, they are a must. I have heard that excessive barking can also lead to bloat.
