The Mid South Boykin Spaniel HRC will hold our inaugural hunt test on Oct. 25-26. The hunt test will be held at Bear Branch Plantation in Townley,AL. Premiums are available on the HRC website. Please come out and support our club. Look forward to meeting some of you there.

This is an HRC sanctioned hunt. All dogs are welcome. There should be alot of curly little brown dogs running around including mine. Hope to see you there.

Ill be there, the grounds as mentioned are awsome and the people are very dog game friendly.

When I ran the bear branch invitational I stayed at the campround in Jasper. I think it was sleepy hollow, the third morning I was getting in the truck forgot something and went back in the camper. My wife and little girl were already in the truck and someone was knocking on the door. I opened it thinking it was Belinda and there was a girl standing there that kinda pushed her way in, said she was freezing and locked out of her house. She needed to warm up and use my phone. I kinda blocked her out of the camper and told her I was leaving but could give her a ride. She was pretty persistant that she wanted to come in. I told her to get in the truck and I would take her wherever she needed to go and she could use my phone. She was very suprised when she jumped in my truck and saw the wife and kid. I took her down the street about a 100yrds and she got out. There were quite a few construction guys staying in the campground. I guess she was making the rounds ans I was the new guy in town. I aint real smart and had no idea what was up till later someone mentioned what she might have been up to? So if anybody needs the phone number for the campground PM me!
