No Federal Duck Stamps at the Post Office

Working late today so I stopped by the Columbus Post Office to buy a federal duck stamp. Don't have any. Don't know when their going to get any. And the only clerk that knew about duck stamps of the three of them said he couldn't order any. Whole new bunch working there. Guess the guys I've bought them from over the years have retired.
Any way I had to buy some stuff at Walmart and behold their sporting goods just got their federal stamps yesterday. The Feds are cutting it pretty close this year. I was thinking driving over there how I was going to hunt the local Canada geese on the 1st without a stamp.
Anybody else having the same problem getting their stamp?

Yep. I ran into the same problem yesterday here in Madison. Apparently the stamps were available a short time ago but have now either run out or just aren't being offered until a later date. Whether they have them in time for teal season, who knows. Early resident Canada goose season shouldn't require the stamp as they are not migratory birds...but then again, hunting migratory mourning doves doesn't require a stamp either. In any case, the solution is to go online to purchase the federal stamp at
http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ ... &langId=-1 , print off your receipt, sign it, and keep with your license. This should suffice as indicated here

If anyone is up around the northwest part of the state and needs one, the Horn Lake post office on Goodman has a ton of them right now. Sportsman's had a good many last week as well... they should have some left. One thing is for sure, as of today, none are to be found in Tate County!

got mine tuesday at big post office in jackfirca lady said it wuz first one she had every sold while working at post office

Every duck you kill has to be stamped now........ Wingman got this passed I heard it was all his idea!!!!
