Mississippi State University signee Quinton Culberson, one of the top high school football players in the nation, was arrested Thursday night after fighting with sheriff's deputies at the Mississippi Coliseum.
A deputy was hurt during the incident about 7:30 p.m. He received stitches for a head injury at St. Dominic's/Jackson Memorial Hospital and was released.
Culberson,a Provine High School student, was charged with felony aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, Hinds County Sheriff Malcolm McMillin said.

All I know is what I read in the clarion liar. There were alot of people wanting into the coliseum, bunch of pushing and shoving started and he got arrested. I doubt anything will happen to culberson, just like the ole miss players wade and reed that got into a fight with a police officer at a skating rink, and nothing happen to them either.

I will tell you what is the problem with the kids these days, They see all this crap going on with the "pro" players and just like their "game" they try to emulate their lifestyle as well. All this is, is just trying to be like someone they saw in the news or something. Well, the NBA , the NFL, Major league baseball, need to step up as does the NCAA and say if you can't keep out of trouble you simply CANNOT play PERIOD. That would stop a bunch of this $#!+. These atheletes are paid so well, that so what if they are fined $50,000...that is simply their salary for 1 game..woohoo big deal. They need to start levee(ing) fines consistent with salaries....say on a percentage basis...like 10% of their annual salary. This way joe bob who is making the minimum salary doens't have to pay the same $$$ amount as say a Kobe Bryant...$50,000 to him would be nothing, but to ole joe bob that would be a LOT!

The problem was WB used the word "elucidate" and GH22 did not have a dictionary nearby.

The sad part about it is GH22 is probablly right. He will probablly get off like it never happened. I say, set an example of his a--. Dutch Dog you hit it on the nose. Instead of glorifying these fools punish them. You will never catch me going back to a Warren Central football game due to this type of Bullcrap. The last one I went to I felt like I was at the New Orleans zoo trapped in the monkey cage. Came out of the game and had 2 officers to meet me at the gate. Seemed 3 more thugs thought it would be fun to break into my truck and steal everything in it. They caught the igmo's and I still didn't get crap back.
This type of behavior these thugs show nowdays have ruined high school sports now in MS. To hell with him, I dont care if he is a MSU recruit I say lock his butt up.

He is charged with a felony. The HCSD doesn't like to see one of their family get assaulted by a thug. I think he'll get more than a slap on the wrist.
Looks like Jackie is trying to attract real talent. go dogs. woohoo.

Yada! yada! yada! Ole Miss, MSU, Who gives a S_ _ _! Wade, Reed, In trouble for fighting with police.... Nothing happened! Turner, In trouble for passing funny money.... Nothing happened! Now this, Culberson for fighting with cops!.... Will probably end with the same result! No matter where they attend college or H.S. Seems to me they should receive the same punishment as you or I would! But this is never the case! They are treated SPECIAL! Im a STATE FAN, but this goes out the window as far as Im concerned! When all of the facts are in they should be delt with accordingly. As always JMHO!!!

"elaborate" would've been a better word to use than "elucidate".
