The little Zebco is the way to go. My 3 year old Betsy Bug caught her first fish alittle while ago. About a 2.5lb bass. She loves her daddy. We caught 3 bass and saw about 4 snake's One cotton mouth was up in the bush about 4 feet off the water.
Ain't nothing like little hunting and fishing buddies!

Ya'll musta been fishin' from the bank? Somehow, I can't imagine Betsy Bug sittin' still enough in a boat. That little girl makes the 'Energizer Bunny'look like he's runnin' BACKWARDS!
What did Sam do when she saw the snakes? She took me over to a fire ant mound at the cookout........told me somebody stuck a drinkin' straw in it and got'em stirred-up........duh, 'wonder how she knew THAT? (hehehe)
'Sorry I missed the chance to see Betsy catch the bass...... You're a lucky man!

Great news that she is that interested. Based on the activity level Sat. I KNOW YOU HAVEYOUR HANDS FULL!!
They are great when they are that age.
I have two step children and two from a previous marriage. They were here weekend before last. I had taken them back to AR a month before broken hearted. (daughter's 11 son's

They had come down the first weekend of Feb and had a serious case of fishing fever. Turns out the weather didn't cooperate. They ( my two and my 8 yr old step son) had a blast fishing some ponds on my bosses place in Montgomery County.
I was the ultimate fisherman to them as I accidently threw my Baby-1 three feet away from a six lb. Largemouth full of eggs in two feet of water and successfully landed her along with a few 3 lb'rs. on later casts. Talk about fun.
I definately don't want the m to lose interest in the outdoors. However, the cotton, mouths do worry the h#** out of me walking the pond banks.
Glad she had success!!!!

Yes, we were standing on a levee on the Northend of the Brake across from the house. Oh yes I had a circus going on. Delta trying to check out the snakes. Speckles, the biscuit beagle chasing the mice and rats.
Samantha caught on to the casting pretty well. She caught a nice bass right off the bat. I casted for Betsy she got a jig on. It was a trip!
Yall be careful with the snakes. This afternoon i will carry my shot gun. It was hard for me to keep an eye on snakes, kids and puppy dogs.

The fishing in Flower Lake? I can't be talking about the fishing on my private, public lake. The next thing you know their will be everybody with a cane pole this way. But if any of yall do get this way stop by and see me!
Ole Speckles is doing fine, She went from the outhouse to the penthouse. Just another women I've got to feed. You will have to talk to Betsy about speckles. Why don't you just come on up here and see for yourself. Don't wait til duck season!

Hey, I know what you mean about them reels. They outlawed my snoopy and tweety bird reels in chickasaw county.
"Daddy, I can throw it!"
"No Denver, wait a minute, OWWW!"
"Gavan, hand me the needle nose and band-aid"
