Prayers needed....UPDATE 10/26/08

...just got a call here at work in S. Louisiana. Wife is at the hospital w/ our daughter in Mobile,AL. .....It didn't sound like a good situation!!! 
I'm headed that way in a few minutes.....gonna be a long night!!

Sorry guys for the delay, but family was #1 priority this last week or so. Our daughter seems to be doing ok, giving the circumstances and I'm back at work. I've worked away from home for several years now and let me say this week was probably the hardest time for me to leave my family. Our daughter and us as a family will be on a road to recovery. Without giving much detail, our daughter had considered taking her own life. I'm somewhat embarrassed about this, but sometimes talking about it helps. This was a shock and has totally devastated us. We thought things were fine, but apparently didn't read between the lines. This was probably the bottom of the barrel for us and things will get better from here. She has been through a few days of rehab (for depression) and counseling starts tomorrow for her and us as well. For now, all I can say is appreciate everyday you have with your kids, love them, and pay attention to what's going on in their world.
