Was flippin through the channels and happened upon Roger Raglin outdoors right as he was about to shoot something, I was like what the heck is that, kinda looks like a cow. Well......it was a cow. A wild bull in New Zealand. Shot him like 8 times with a high power rifle. He shoulda asked and I would have told him jsut to shoot it in the forehead with a 22 mag once to do the trick. I could just not get excited about cow hunting.

I caught that too. Thought the exact same thing.

Roger Raglin is a pole smoker. He smiles like he is all hopped up on crack when he is hunting.

I saw that too. The first time I saw it was right after he almost busted his booty on the muddy hillside. At first I thought it might have been some type of buffalo or something cause all I saw was the hindquarter and tail. What was up with them not showing the head after the kill? Anyway, if any of yall hunt Delta National on the south end, don't shoot the cows that are roaming. I heard the man that owns them are trying to round all of them up.

Sidenote: It would be very tempting to shoot that longhorn running through there.

My buddy's dad is a farmer. He called me one day to come over and shoot a cow. OK. She had a pregnancy issue and had to be put down. I stood about 5 feet away and shot her with a 30-30 RIGHT between the eyes. That didn't do it. So she sloshed around and slobbered everywhere but when she became still, the shot behind the ear did the trick. Instantly.

I was 17 or 18 then and now looking back that wasn't nearly as cool as I thought. Good steaks though.
