Where can I get some good maps for the public land north of Vicksburg. I was wanting to do some scouting on Panther and in the future at Twin Oaks. I drew nov 25-27 at Twin Oaks. Would also be interested in Yazoo and possibly Delta National. Help me with some good bowhunting territory if you can do that on the web.......

Try the website www.terraserver.homeadvisor.msn.com/default.asp It has both topo and satalite imagery. You can zoom in down to the point of seeing boats and their wakes. Hope this helps.

In have hunted there on three different occasions. My hunts have been fairly successfull. I have learned that if it is hot there the deer don't move.Very nice mgt area.

Try the link posted. You should have the area reg. brochure. That is a start, but not a whole lot of help. You can go to the county FSA office to get copies of aerial photos of the property of interest. USGS topo maps are handy also. You buy those from the Corps of Engineers or USGS office in Jackson.
