That is just horrible. I think you need to put it out for trash pick up day. I'll will just need to know where you live, when your trash day is and exactly what time you plan to put it out. So that I can come by there and make sure you actually dispose of that thing.

Not to pee on your parade, but I'm not that impressed with the mount. Seems like it's a bit "lifeless" to a degree. Now, I've got some that fit into that category as well since I opted for a taxidermist that was not especially know for his art. Recently, however, I have decided that if I am going to pay for a mount, I'll save enough to have it done by one of the best.

Case in point, a few years ago, I had a drake pintail done and I was pleased with the work. My brother-in-law had one mounted the year after by a guy in Little Rock. The difference is unbelievable. His appears to be flying with a purpose, while mine has wings spread, head turned and is mounted to a piece of driftwood.

I had him do a sitting Drake Canvasback for me a few years ago and it is awesome.

I do know this, if I cannot afford to send a bird to Shane, I'll wait until I can.

Great bird though on the Black Mallard...that is one of the only I have yet to kill. That and a Cinnamon Teal.

I agree, but the chair it is on leaves something to be desired.

Did not intend to hijack nor de-value the mount. Congrats on a great bird first of all. My .02 cents was intended to make us think on the next one we might have mounted.

Is there a love seat that matches that chair?
