So now there are two Davis Groceries in Satartia?

Does anyone know the story? It doesn't seem like Satartia could support more than one.
I'm torn. I like the ambiance at the original but the other morning, it appeared that the locals were stopping at the new one. They usually know best.

Old dude that owned the original had it taken away by his girlfriend. It's a long story, but something like she lived with him for a long time and then went running around on him and somehow legally got his store, kinda like a divorce I reckon. So he was pissed and opened up another over by the bridge. Pretty crazy, but seems to be workin out pretty good!

Say it ain't So!!! That's awful. Man I loved the original. Great yardbird. Big catalpa tree that you could sit under. Creaky wooded floors.
Sportsman450 is a rollin in his grave I bet.

At my old camp, I could ride my golf cart to the store. Got pulled over once by a Sheriff's deputy though. He asked me what I was doing and then let me go when I said "Going to Mr. Davis' for a 6 pack and some fried chicken." I miss that place
