12-5 hunt

7 hunters killed 36 ducks friday morning. mostly killed scrap ducks and only 7 or 8 green hats, still a great hunt though. 1 guy also killed a drake canvasback. overall it was a great hunt, not many new birds flying in the area but it was first time we hunted this spot this season.

yeah he said it was mixed in with some grey ducks early. i didnt see it till we got back to the truck i was about 400 yards down

what an dumbarse......even if it was the first time meeting the guy i still wouldnt go about broadcasting that a guy you hunted with killed a drake can during a closed season on a public forum

Come on guys, you all know that Cans are notorious for flying with grey ducks.
A few years ago we saw a flight of greys with a canvasback and a tundra swan mixed in it. We were luck nobody hit that swan you couldnt hardly pick him out of the crowd he blended so well.
