Hunted today at York Woods.....there was water all over the place and saw between (im guessing) 4-5000 ducks....looks like a big push of new birds...we killed our mallards by 7 10.....I would probably head that way if you are thinking about it....

They've had birds that way for the past 2 weekends, sounds like a 1000 round black cat going off at 6:30 every Saturday.

I sit in the deer stand and listen, first the woodie shoot, then the coffee and biscuits, later on is the 2nd flight.

You can always tell who's shooting a pump and who's shooting an auto even from miles away. You either get boom boom boom or boom.............boom...................boom.

The real feat was i got in there....shot my 2 limits (all i could carry while moving fast) and got out undetected....almost got caught but ducked down under water and breathed thru a hollow reed for an hour and a half.....

Hunted in Lambert this AM and had 2 man limit of mallards by 7:15. Plenty of birds in the area.
