I was wandering around the Outdoors Fest. yesterday morning, when I stumbled upon a hunting dog demo. So I was standing there holding Avery, my lil' Boykin pup, soaking in some of the Q&A and some of the T&A (puppies are so much fun to take to events like that), and I remembered someone here on this board saying they were going to put on a display of there own.

I am looking around at people thinking, "maybe he is on the board," or "is he a member of MSDUCKS?" So I never got to introduce myself/ or meet anyone from this board because 1. I had no way of knowing who ya'll are. 2. I would feel kind of wierd introducing myself to someone as SBE, and hoping they are a from this board.

So, why don't we get get some nice looking ball caps made up, we could wear them to events like this or to field trials/hunt test, or where ever you think you might run into an MSDUCKS member, that you don't already know.

Someone on here has some artistic ability, if not a plain hat with MSDUCKS.com on the front would do the job. I am sure someone knows of a shop that can make them up or might even have a connection inside the shop. I might even be able to do it let me know if anyone is interested, or if any one has any better ideas. I am open to suggestions.

I am inclinded to agree with you SBE, I think that I spoke with Goosebruce while I was there but since I have never met him, I didn't know it at the time and I am still not sure it was him. Like you I didn't want to go around introducing myself as Haymaker. I would suggest that any money that is made from the sale of the hats go to the up keep of this site.

In college, we had some Forestry Club hats printed up. They used the bar hat format that almost all colleges use. The ones that have 3 bars, with LSU (or college of choice) and Louisiana State University underneath with a bar on top and a bar between the words and another bar below that. I am sure you have seen these caps (all white cap with, in this case, purple and gold bars and letters. I think they were about $7 per hat. Nice cotton material. Could read MSDucks on top and Waterfowling Southern Style underneath. Sorry for the long post.

Hey SBE, How about we all get a Tatoo of Delta Duck and Gulf Coast put on left cheek of our As.... .... Wait a minute....... dont think any of us would feel too comfortable running around with a duo like that on our private parts either!!!!...... Hummmmmm.....

I have a buddy with an embroidery machine in his garage who prints shirts/hats ect for a living. He routinely tells me that he is the cheapest game in town. I could probably get him to print them for a reasonable price.

I am a fairly new poster but I would purchase a hat if someone came up with one for the website.
Just wanted to voice my support.

Sew on style... Put it on the T-shirt, Jacket, or cap of your choice!

Could say MSDucks.com on the front and across the back where the arched hole is you could put your nickname/screen name there.

I've got a friend who has a print shop that does tshirts and hats.
I'll ask him how much for a cap.

I think thats a GREAT idea. But for gosh sake, get sumthin decent looking; not the high crowned stuff like Lee Trevino wears on those old golf match re-runs. Maybe sumthin like GC would wear.

After seeing Duckmens hunting pics last year, I recommend that he design any logo.

Also, this might be a good way to get started on the program discussed previously to take "special" people on a first duck hunt. Charge an extra $10 for the hats and put it in a fund for the special ones.

Maybe all this would be too complicated, but the MSDucks "logo hat" is a great idea. the INJ
