Figured I'd done asked everything else on these here boards.

Who makes a good pair that a working man could afford? I have a pair of justin's that have served there purpose well, but figured I'd get ya'lls insight. Needing a "dress" boot of sorts, ya'll throw up some options.

About all I wear are Justin. Had a pair of elephant skins that I loved. Can't get them anymore though. I've got the ones made from goat now.

Ariat or Justin. Can't go wrong with either one of them.

I wear Ariats. They are about the most comfortable thing out there.

Yes you can get Elephant still, started producing them about 5 years ago again.
You can't go wrong with Justin or Ariats.
Don't know how much you are wanting to spend but Boots Incorporated has heir full quills ostrich on sale for $299. If you wear just fro going out and dress boots, they will last you for a long long time.
If you don't want to spend that much, go with a "smooth" ostrich, goat, kangaroo, or calfskin. Yeah, I know a little bit about boots. Used to manage a boot store.

I'm partial to Chippewa's and Lucchese boots....the Lucchese boots last my wide footed self longer than any before getting resoled, Chippewa's are pretty tough as well, but not as "dressy"....

Fairly Expensive nice dress boats are Tony Lama's

You can get a good pair of go out "dressy" boots either Justin or Ariat like mentioned above (Less expensive). Go to boots and more or britches and boots and they'll get ya hooked up

Also a boot that hasn't been mentioned is Double H. Good long lasting boot, dressy or work.
