What is the best or advantages and disadvantages in different brands or styles of mud motors such as long shank, short shank?

long shaft vs short shaft mud motor: short shaft will turn shorter if your in tight places and then long shaft gives you better leverage when you need to dig into the mud.

don't confuse a long shaft or short shaft mud motor with a long shaft or short shaft surface drive mud motor.

Look at the top of you screen, it says, Logout, # pms, Search.

Hit the search button and use mud motors, it's been covered ad nauseum on here. Same goes for mudmotortalk.com. Pletny of information out there. If I can awnser somethig specific just let me know.
