SAND AND JB WELD

TAKES ABOUT 10 MIN PER DECOY

I use sand and a hot glue gun. Very inexpensive and will outlast the paint on your decoys, even G and H decoys.

take some pieces of re-inforcing rod {rebarb} and drive into the keel of flambeau dekes... the steel used in concrete slabs.... or take some 5/8th bolts X 5 in. and insert into keel..... try them out in a bucket of water til you get it right......

You can get used tire weights for free from any tire store. They have just about the right amount of bend in them where you can drive them into your keel and they will stay put.

Get cotton spindles and drive them into the keels. Works well on those old flambeau dekes. Can probably pick some up for free from a fellow forum member.

There are some pretty darn good ideas here fellas. Some that I had forgotten from previous posts.
