How many days have ya’ll spent in the woods/water the 2008-2009 hunting season so far?
How many days do you plan to hunt the remainder?

It’s January 4, 2009, so we still have till the 25th of January to hunt ducks. Just got through looking at the calendar and I have 3 more days and possible 3 afternoons left in the season, if all the stars line up. I have yet to see a buck worth taking or let my dog bust through the brush for the year’s first mallard, so I’m hoping for a lot of luck LOL.

How do ya’ll plan to wrap up the season?

Me: well hoping for one of the bucks I saw the day before season, and hoping for one stinger of mallets I can proudly display. Yep, first mallard that hits the water will be hitting the wall lol

Got a week of vacation on the way... Jan 14 - 20th.

I haven't killed a mallard all season.

Should have 3-6 more weekend days to hunt plus a Thursday / Friday hunt next week. Hope it picks up. Been awful slow since Christmas.

don't know about deer but I have been on 16 hunts so far this year, will make it on atleast 25

Going to ReelFoot for a hunt this Saturday. Driving down to the lease Saturday night to hunt Sunday morning. Then back to the lease for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and repeat one more time to close it out.
