I bet I heard 400 shots this morning, some being within 400 yards, and I fired 2 times. I am absolutely fed up with chasing ducks. Yesterday I bet I saw 2000 ducks in route to scout. Rode all afternoon and found some nice locations with duck there. This morning we jump up the ducks and they never returned. Ducks that DID fly over acted as if my decoys were painted hunters orange and never even thought about coming. Its so frustrating. Driving home weekends to kill ZERO ducks. 3 hunts 0 ducks. Most people have a bad day of 4 or 5 or 6, I get 0.

If you say you like going most for the experience, come on down next weekend and come watch an experience. Sorry for the rant.

Your not alone, thats my luck on a good day. I started going on woody hunts to make it feel worth while. I see a hundred ducks and kill my limit. If you want to get in on some of that pm me, its really fun.

Been there to buddy, the last 2 seasons for me have been nothing short of crappy

funny, I have killed more ducks in Oxford, than I have at my place in Crowder this year. Weird...and frustrating as all get out. Driving all the over there to watch ducks go to every field around me.

I gave up and just started going to thomastown in the swamp and enjoying the 30 minute fly time.

we were covered up yesterday and nothing today..........the dang thang is we had the birds all around us just not in the hole we were in......they would lock up drop alt. clear the trees see our deks and the rocket out of there like there booty was on fire.......we thought call shy...nope that didnt work....decoy shy....nope that didn't work either.........finally we had a group of canadas decide they had lived long enough and we got four out of them, but I still say they were lost and blind...........haha

Mine rhymes with... well I cant think of anything that rhymes with a hundred. Three of us have killed exactly a hundred ducks and one Speck since last friday. Thats the most duck i believe Ive ever killed in a seven day span. Im glad January has been good to me because i was ready to quit hunting all together after the december we had. That was probably the worst month of hunting i can remember.

Hey Dukhunter,
you hunting with a guy that is about 5.5 feet tall and weighs 135lbs?

The full moon has them screwed up. They have been in the fields at night and leaving early to roost during the day. I thought some had left but that is not the case.
