No, but I would be cautious of it melting into the barrel

Steel is a lot more harsh on your barrel and choke. I am going to guess it could damage or warp your choke.

Quick answer: It'll mess your choke up......may even strip the threads by eventually blowing your choke tube out the end of the barrel.
Steel shot will not hurt a straight-bored barrel .785(12ga).......it only affects the constrictions. The tighter the constriction, the more damage it'll do.......that's why they don't recommend shooting steel shot in a choke that's tighter than Modified (lead designation). So, if it says 'no steel', they're trying to tell you it could have a negative effect either on you, the gun or its performance.

The "full" is refering to the constriction based on LEAD. Using a full choke with steel would be like using an extra full or XX-full. Your patttern would probably be crap not to metion it could and probably would damage your barrel as the others have said. I believe the rundown is like this...if not someone correct me.
cylinder-lead = modified-steel
Imp. cylinder-lead = Imp. modified-steel
modified-lead = full-steel
Imp. mod- lead = xtra full-steel
full-lead = xxtra full-steel
Like I stated, if I am wrong someone correct me..but thats my interpretation.
