anybody been to vienna austria?

going at the end of sept. with the wife for her work (she is 1 of 10 in the us that was chosen to go) and trying to find out the "gotta do's" while there. may be flying into amsterdam (only down side is the 9 hr layover and wizz quizz when i return - upside, i have the 'opportunity' to not remember the layover, or my name, or that i have a job i need, for that matter, if i so choose ! - may be inclined to after a non-stop 12 hr. flight, though )

Been a few times - the company I worked for had a plant an hour outside of Vienna. I've been a lot of places and Vienna is probably the most beautiful city I've seen. If you like horses - check out the Spanish Riding School - it's the home of the lipizzaners.

i will see, but after the $1k plane ticket ( and it is getting the ticket 2.5 months early)for me to go, i don't think the wife would appreciate the deals quite as much as you or i would.... i'll surely keep it in mind, though
