Strange topic and question here, but has anyone used Bolivar Urology for anything? I was wondering how the personnel were there and the treatment. Been thinking of getting snipped and my insurance is reffering me to them. I've done some reading and research and it seems like 1 out of every 2 guys had some complications. Not with Bolivar urology just in general with getting it done. Some even still had pain and discomfort 5-6 weeks after they had it done. They said it seemed like a vise was clamped around thier twins. Not a very comforting thought! Seems like if I go through with it I got a 50/50 chance of not having any problems. I'd like my odds to be better than that!

Drive to Memphis and see Dr. John Adams. You won't go wrong. I know at least a doz guys that went to see him and none have complications. Out of the 12 only one did not take. and that ended up being a good thing because he found out about it after he had divorced his first wife and re-married and she got pregnant.

Check with Dr. Land Renfroe in Oxford. He's a straight shooter and may have some advice about getting the procedure done in Cleveland.

I believe Bolivar Urology is Dr. Miles. Ive met him a few times and he seems to be a good guy. He has a real good tan, but like to duck hunt. Somebody was telling me the other day that torch is his #1 guide. I'd go see him.

I'm not in the market for a vasectomy but have a serious question. After the procedure do the pipes still work or is a good feeling the only thing that comes out of the end of it?

The pipes still work after the procedure, however no sperm is present in the "Man Chowder."

Dr. John Adams in Memphis. He's great...plus he keeps some pretty hot nurses around to help hold things still!!!!

The only guy I know of ever having trouble afterwards was a guy who had it done on Friday, then went to the Ole-Miss/Arkansas football game the next day a few years ago that went into several overtimes???? Anyway, he hooped and hollared and cheered and jumped up and down etc at the game for several hours all the while drinking beer. He was messed up for a couple weeks. NOT the Dr's fault!!!!

Dr. Miles is a good guy. I'd have zero problems letting him cut the cord. I worked with him for several years and he is stand up. Whitest black guy you will ever meet. He and dr Blake there at bolivar co.

Dr. Miles is a very good doctor. Very competent. I would recommend him without hesitation. If you live in the Delta there is no need to go to Jackson or Memphis for something as routine as this. He probably does several hundred of them a year. I'm sure he has done thousands of them during his career.

Doctor said I need a backeotomy.
Why anyone would do this to themselves is beyond me.
