keeping coon out of corn

I picked up son traps today, would like to get some of those little grizz getters, any body got tips or tricks on how to get rid of coons? i got a corn patch they are tearing up! would love to save some for the deer.

sardines in live traps in and around the field. worked for us. we caught 7 coons in 4 days.

peanut butter seems to work pretty good also.

dog food


is your patch is small enough to enclose it with an electric fence? if so you need strands, one at 6" and a second at 1'

Buddy of mine uses live traps and dog food. Works like a charm.

watermelons are their favorite food.

Oh wait a minute your talking about the furry four legged varmits, not the african models.

A guy I help pick sweet corn for uses Fly bait, cat food and coke mixed together, kills them almost on the spot, I have yet to see one get more than 10yrds from the pan.
