Delta Duck Hunts offer thousands of acres of duck hunting on private land with a variety of quality duck hunting and waterfowl habitat. While it depends on where the ducks are working, you could duck hunt any of the following duck hunting habitat: flooded rice, soybean, and corn fields, flooded timber or natural sloughs and brakes. Delta Duck Hunts offer duck hunting with easy access from a pit, brushed sled blinds, or standing timber. Our duck hunting guides are experienced duck hunters who are dedicated to making your duck hunt both personal and memorable. This area of the Mississippi delta is home to a variety of ducks ( Mallard, Pintail, Widgeon, Teal, Gadwall, Wood Ducks, and Northern Shoveler) as well as geese ( Canada, Snow, and Speckled-Belly).

Delta Duck Hunts meet at the famed Blue and White Restaurant, on Hwy 61 in Tunica, Mississippi each morning at 5:00 a.m. for an excellent breakfast before heading out to duck hunt. The Blue and White is well known for both it's hospitality and wonderful " home cooked" style meals. This is the usual place that we also will gather back at for lunch after the morning duck hunt.

Every guided duck hunt includes calling, decoys, and transportation to and from the blind. Guided duck hunts are limited to four (4) persons per duck hunting guide. Being located in the Mississippi duck hunting Flyway, we offer duck hunting a full 7 days per week throughout the entire season.

Fellows we had the worst opener I'm ever seen!

Glad I rescheduled the hunts for this weekend.

Bright spot we did have ducks in the rain Sunday morning. Looks like another front will be here before the weekend, maybe more ducks!

The second weekend opener was not much better than the opener. We did have one group get 5 limits. few mallards, pintails, Lesser Scaup, Ringneck, teal, 1 coot, 16 spoonies.

Another group had acouple of gadwalls!

It was worst on Saturday, seeing birds but zero wanting to work. Ice and clear nights were a nightmare.

Can't wait til Wednesday morning!!

Today started out slow in the fields, but by mid morning the action picked up ice started to melt and the ducks started to fly.

We are seeing more mallards and pintails each day. It is troubling that we do not have the # of Greenwing teal. Should be seeing alot more than what we are seeing!!

Got the crew from Shotgunworld.com @ the "Bull Pen" in the morning on the live hunting feeds @ www.waterfowloasis.com

I drove through the middle of supposedly "duck heaven" (Tallahatchie County) and did not see the first duck. This is really sad. Stopped and checked on our 3 holes in Tallahatchie where we slaughered birds all last year and not a single duck.
Today did check out another one of our holes and had about 75 "easy to kill" mallards in it. We will take some kids to that hole and let them wax'm. But that is it. Drove another 50 miles around and saw maybe 10 shovelers setting on a field.

WHAT'S WRONG!!! Are there any ducks anywhere!

I just got back from hunting Tallahatchie county, and its pretty much the same story. Thousands of birds migrating south, but none showing the least bit of interest in stopping. Had a few work on Friday, but no luck the rest of the weekend. I really didn't hear any shooting to speak of either. I am guessing that the storm that blew through the Missouri last week locked alot of them up in the Dakotas which didnt get hit. I would love to hear anyone elses theories about whats going if there are any.

We had a great waterfowl season!

The harvest percents were:

Mallards 40%

Teal 20%

Shovler 20%

Gadwall 7.5%

Pintail 5%

Wigeon 3%

Woodduck 3%

Had 4 banded mallards: 1 band per 257 mallards.

Had 1 banded Canada!

Had 1 banded Blue goose!

I want to thank all my customers, friends and my Guides.

It was a great year for the Mississippi Delta!
