Need input on Duckboat Blind

Anybody ever used the Flyway Specialties Blind for boats? I've been in a boat and used the Avery. I'm looking to buy one and noticed the Flyway Specialties blind covers the whole boat, including motor, and has a dog port on each side. It also claims a 10 second setup time.

Anybody have any experiences with it, pros or cons, would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

All I have to say is this:

BEAVERTAIL! BEAVERTAIL! BEAVERTAIL! BEAVERTAIL!

Greatest blind ever built!

Right now, I have used or hunted from every major boat blind on the market other than the mudbuddy. So far, the beavertail SMOKES every one of them.

Here is a review that I did at my site:

I have a new-in-the-box Mudbuddy Quick-Flip they sent me to use for the season for a review. Apparently, they did not like me having up a Beavertail review and not a review of their blind! :D I am putting that blind together this weekend. Look for another detailed blind review on the Mudbuddy after this season.

I couldn't agree more with everything you wrote in your review of the BTB. I had a quickset on my 1756DB Xpress with a side console. You talk about the biggest pain in the rump! I searched for a new blind and my boat dealer (The Old Baithouse, Paducah, KY) told me about the new BTB. I was having all kinds of issues with the Avery and a side console. Steve at the Old Baithouse convinced me I would never want nor profess to anyone the wonders of the Avery. Sooo...I jumped in the truck, drove 8 hours from Columbus and went and picked up my BTB. Hunted the Oxbows the next morning and turned around and headed back to the Buckeye State. I put it together in about 40 minutes with the help of my cousin. By far, it is the easiest assembly of any product out there. This is my third season with it and everyone that sees it wants to hunt out of it and of those folks they all have listed or sold their Avery's to buy the Beavertail. BTW- GREAT PRICE TOO!!!!! If you have any questions call Mark Fisher (of Fisher Beavertail) up in Minnesota. He's usually availble and will answer all your questions!

I was over at the greenville wildlife expo today and saw the FLEXBLIND. made by the same guy that make the FLEXTONE calls and it look pretty good it had a reversible camo liner if you want to call it that with an elastic ring running around it and it has four clamp an adjustable poles and thats all that holds it up. so you can lean out of it to take the shot and it look simple enough that I could use it. For a 14' boat that setup would have cost just over $400 compared to that avery quickset thats around six I think. Thats my 2 cents though.
