me and couple guys the other day were debating on where people should hunt on a given day.
The scenario was on a blue bird sky day with no wind where would you hunt? in an open water area and have a chance of seeing more ducks or smaller sloughs were ducks might feel less pressue.
you guys let me know what you think.

Bluebird = Timber
Cloudy = Fields

I am going to the bushes if the sun is out. With open water and no wind, they can land anywhere.

We only have a few timber holes to hunt so open water is no option, other than that we hunt the wind and move around as needed.

'Doesn't really matter when there's no ducks anywhere.......it just makes it more challenging to try to figure-out, "if I were a duck.....where would I go, today?"
I would try open water with binoculars......if you see birds traveling in a certain direction....obviously, follow'em.
Good luck.

No wind means unpredictability in my past experience. Big water and no wind means birds can land anywhere they like, and out of harms reach from whatever looks suspicious in your seemingly perfect blind. Timber on a bluebird day.

Yall are from Alabama and ruin our duck hunting...quit taking up for one another and stay home....you wont get no sympathy here...this is MS Ducks...not Alabama ducks...go gloat about your football team...and leave the hunting to people that wake up before daylight...just sayin...happened the other morning
