2-man boat question...

I have a two man boat that sometimes has a trolling motor and sometimes does not. In Mississippi, should this boat be registered? I've had it for several years now and have never had any trouble with the law. Would much rather spring for the registration that a ticket.

I think it has to be registerd. I would go ahead and do it anyway. A $10.00 or so registratin is cheaper than a ticket.

Yes- if it has any type motor, it has to be registered. Dont forget the tie down straps.

Yeah, tie-downs are a must. Also, tie down all equipment too... IE....decoys! Learned that one the hard way!

Well ya see what ya gotta do is once you get it in the water you have to just roll the throttle all the way and not let off till the motor hits bottom. I bet a bass boat wouldnt have chit on this setup. Would be funny to watch anyway, and you would dang sure have to tie you gear down at those speeds.

I think a 15 on this boat would call for a high PUCKER factor!

Only if you put it on a public lake or water, private water no!
