Still dealing with the fallout

Just asking for prayers for me and my family. It has been a year and a half since we lost Owen, and it still hurts, and being unable to have another child has just made it more difficult. Every month that goes by with no good news just begins to chips away at your faith. I am usually a very positive person, but it is tough to try and remain positive after so many let downs and trying to keep my wife positive is also hard. Just asking for prayers for renewed strength and faith and some sign that God is still with us.

Chad,
We will lift you and your family up to God in prayer. From my limited interaction with you on here and Facebook, it seems you have been the strength and inspiration for many others. So now, it is your turn to be lifted up.
Please keep your faith as God does have a plan for you. I know you have many good friends, but if you ever want a new person to talk with and get things off your chest, then PM or any other member on here and I will gladly be here for you.

I can't begin to imagine the hurt and frustration you're going through. Be reassured that God's will and timing are perfect. He's got a blessing in store for you and you'll receive it when He's ready! Anticipate and look forward to that day, and continue to lean on Him till then. If you have other specific points that need prayer I'd be honored take them on with you. Praying!

I'm working through Job right now, and struggling to digest it all, but when I read your post I was reminded that Job, despite his tortured existence and frustration with God, and the ridicule of his friends, held on to his belief that God was totally in control of his life and knew what was best for him. I had prayed that I would find something for you in my reading today and here is what I came up with.
From The Message translation
Job 17:6-8,9
" 6 -8 "God, you've made me the talk of the town—
people spit in my face; I can hardly see from crying so much;
I'm nothing but skin and bones. Decent people can't believe what they're seeing;
the good-hearted wake up and insist I've given up on God.
9 "But principled people hold tight, keep a firm grip on life,
sure that their clean, pure hands will get stronger and stronger! "
Job 19:23-27
"23 -27 "If only my words were written in a book—
better yet, chiseled in stone! Still, I know that God lives—the One who gives me back my life—
and eventually he'll take his stand on earth. And I'll see him—even though I get skinned alive!—
see God myself, with my very own eyes.
Oh, how I long for that day!"
