Boss man just bought a 17' Boston Whaler and river house a house in "The Kill"'.....he asked me today if I think we'll be catching reds and specks in Feb?....I said with your money and me spending it anything is possible :D

torch,

I've mainly nagger fished with 2 jig poles my whole life. I am wanting to buy some trolling poles and a pole holder on the front of my boat. What types trolling poles and holders do you like to use? If there were any out there that you would reccomend, let me know. I'm tired of using the same 2 jig poles and want to try something new.

Im not torch, but I have both the Capps and Coleman from BnM and the Wally Marshell Tight line specials. I have 4 of each and I tell ya when I get the $$$$$ Im doing away w/ the BnM as they are to flimsy for my liken. I love BnM jig poles but not so much the trolling rod. Would like to try 1 of thier new Pro Trollers though.

As for rod holders, Ive used the Tite Lock, driftmaster and LTL and the river roads holder is the one I like the best. I had 2 diff sets of tite lock and they were ok but I didnt like the way they adjusted. Dad and all my friends use them and LOVE them but they weren't for me.

Here is a link to the ones I like www.laketalquinlodge.com, then go look in the online store

Yankees are the devil. Keep all of our ducks all season. Then they come down and catch all the crappie. Cant even fish a tree because of all the damn yoyos. Boy the late ninty's where great. We had all the ducks and fish in the world.

I pretty much jsut threw duck season out the window and stayed at the Rez or deer camp the entire Christmas holidays. Came back to Fl for my last semester of school and have been chasing the crappie like crazy since. Water temps in North part of the State are high 40's(thanks to the week+ freezing weather) and central part of the states are low to mid 50's.

Are you planning on fishing crappie masters on Lake Talquin in Feb? If so look me up I will be down there fishing(not for the tourny) and can point you to some places. Come back to the other site when ya can, pretty much the same old stuff everyday WB still flinging poo and DD still installing crap upside down.
