Hope you all had better luck than we did this weekend, ducks were few and far between, has anyone here know anything about the pattern master choke tubes?

I have one for my sbe and it is tight. It is good when you get used to the pattern. It will definately extend your range but tough for birds over the dekes. It is also tough to use in the dove field with lead. I patterned it with turkey loads at 40 yds and it was almost as good as the gobblin thunder. I tried heavy shot for the first time this weekend in a modified and improved choke and it was the real deal. I shot 3.5" #5's and they rocked the house.

PM chokes rule... the bigger the shot, the tighter it is. When the wind blows and yur pulling feathers, a pm choke will flip ducks over backwards. It aint for close quaters fast shooting, cause its tighter than fish snatch.
Seen articals in those gun mags about swat teams having to scope their shotguns with pm chokes cause they are so tight... 90 yard range with taticle buckshot, and at 30 yards, all pellets in a pie tin! travis

I shot a pattermaster for the first time this weekend and it did almost too much damage shooting 3.5" BB's over the dekes. I had great knockdown and folded more ducks than I ever have.

I have a Moss. 835 that I until recently had just used for turkey hunting and the factory choke with steel was pretty weak, after reading some of the other guys posts on it I ordered from Mack's and got it yesterday and patterned it today at 25yds and 40yds. After shooting and seeing the pattern on paper, I'm impressed to say the least. 25 yds is a very dense circle with very few flyers about 20" across and 40 yds is a even circle that is not near as dense as the first but very evenly dispersed. Fri. will be the first day I get to hunt with it so I'm looking forward to it.
