help please!

what words do you say into the call that gives you the bouncing hen. Ive been trying and trying to figure it out but i just cant seem to make it sound right.

Wan-ka with emphasis on the ka. It's basically a quack-cluck with the notes run closer together. You can single them out while learning and then bunch them together.

i've heard oo-ta or quit-ta but i cant seem to get it either i can make it sound right when i blow backwards through the barrel but i cant make it sound right for the life of me when i turn it round

whit-ta is what i use...prolly blow it too much sometimes. Easiest thing to do is get with somebody that can do it well and learn from them. Worked for me.

Its just a quack with a tiny cluck (T-pop) at the end, speeded up. I can do it, but ducks don't seem to respond to it any more than standard greeting calls. YMMV.

Just like the quack, the word you use probably won't make much difference once you get it. I generally use "quit-ta" but it took several hours of practice to get it. Don't try to do it in a cadence at first, just make a quack and put a second sound into it (the "ta"), kind of like "quit-taaaa". Get this first, then slowly increase the speed until you get a decent cadence. Hit the "t" hard.

got it, thanks guys. it took about 2 weeks of practice to get it but i finally did.
