tony called me this morning, coda (KODA) was in a bad way. Acted like he was stove up, and drooling, like his sides where stiff. took him to vet, and he threw up outside, and then inside the office. they did xrays looking for an obstruction, and didnt see anything, but thought a lot of gas was pressing on his innards. kept him to watch. then the bloody dirahhea started. ivs and more xrays, nothing forgien in there so blackburn said it might be some kind of intenstional hemmorgahing. No word yet on what direction to go except watch him closely and keep up the ivs. Kota is a pretty special dog to me, and for sure tony is a special person. Ya'll say a prayer for them. travis

Prayers sent. Have they tried the doggie version of the MRI? We suspected that my dog had eaten a towel and the vet did xray and then sent us to another clinic for the MRI

He's on morphine and ivs. if he dries out he's probably toast. bloody diahrea has continued but its gotten darker, like its older. Im fixing to leave the shop to stop by and see him. Hopefully, hes still there in the morning. He might be fine in the am, you never know how these things go. travis

Man, it's tough when your dog gets sick - it's a helpless feeling.
