Some of you are dreaming of World Slams and we can help you. When Ramsey first came to me with the invitation to join the Getduck.com team I said right off that we need to offer turkey hunting on the site and I had the connections for that. This April I am taking Ramsey to the jungles of the Yucatan Peninsula in the State of Campeche, Mexico for his first look at Ocellated Turkeys and a hunt down there. This is not a normal hunt as many are used to doing here in the states. Detail will follow and since I was at this same camp last year I look forward to seeing RR's impression. The last two birds for the Royal and World Slam are in Mexico and we have the safest, most dependable and comfortable destinations there are. Gould hunting is at 8,000 feet on a 55,000 acre ranch in the heart of the Sierra Madres and is beyond description. Join us if you will and don't hesitate to call for details and references. Whether it's Osceolas in Florida, Rios in Oklahoma and Texas or Merriam's in South Dakota plus the south of the border species we've been there and done that and can get you where you need to go.

If someone wanted to go ahead and book the entire "World Slam Package" over 4 years, is there an price incentive to do that?

I'm assuming all turkey hunters have the Eastern out of the way. So if someone would want to set up the remaining 5, I'm sure something could be worked out with that early of a booking. Keep in mind that the Ocellated,, Gould's and quit possibly the Osceola hunts will continue to rise.

Leaving for Oklahoma and Texas Thursday, I've got 7 turkeys to tag!!

oh and your check went out today. hopefully you will get it before you leave on Thursday.

If I'm ever passing thru Olive Branch, I'd love to stop by and look at your turkey trophy room... that is most impressive.

It is truly a must see and be sure you have a couple of hours to take it all in ...........its amazing

HOLY hell.... is that a normal spur on that there ocellated turkey in the back?????

they are quite a bit longer than any other turkeys. Knowing Pat, that is probably the world record, but I know that they are MUCH longer than easterns.

Ocellateds are know for their spur length. Two inch spurs aren't uncommon and the shortest I've killed among the half dozen I've taken was 1 3/4 inches. They are very territorial and you will not see two males running together like the turkeys we have here. They fight for dominance and will not tolerate another male in their area.

Pat called this afternoon to give me an update from Texas, enroute to Oklahoma: glassed 75 gobblers strutting. The season opens tommorow.
