dog box question

Looking into purchasing a dog box for my truck. I found a great deal on a used Regal Dog Box. It's built for a full-size truck, and has top storage. My question is, with it being 27 inches in height (including top storage) is this going to be too small for a lab? It's dimensions are 46 X 42 X 27, so height is my only concern. I think the previous owner used it for his walkers.

That should be plenty. I'm thinking most deer skin, ainley, and mountain top holes are about that tall.
