Jimmy McGuire - McGuire's Taxidermy? He is in Clinton, I've used him and will again. One of the few of those guys that will do what he says he will, when he says he will do it

One of the guys that used to work with Ellis is working with John Hamilton with To The Extreme Taxidermy 601-260-8605 and his work is hard to beat.

He will come to Jackson and pick it up, his shop is just south of Brandon. This is some of his work that was posted on another board and he is at the extravaganza every year. He has done 4 mounts for me and 8 or 10 skull mounts and I will not take mine any where else. He is a great guy and easy to deal with.

Just take it to Ellis Solomon and you don't have to wonder or worry who worked for him at one time or anything else. Take it to the Master, not the students!!!

I agree that ellis does good work but he doesn't mount half the deer that come into his shop.

I don't know what you consider "mount". He does have help, but he touches and approves everything that leaves that place.

I agree he is good and has done several for me but John Hamilton's work is unbelievable. It's hard for Ellis to compete with the quality because he mounts over 500 a year which is very impressive and Ellis is as nice a guy as you will ever meet but when I pay $350 or $400 dollars for a mount it better be a great mount and what I asked for.

every time I have given a mount to Ellis, it turned out just like I asked and looked incredible.
