Dixie Land Auction Call (duckamateur auction)

Just thought I would post the call going out to the winner of the past auction the forum had. I had some thing come up in my family that delayed the call being made and shipped. Just wanted to share it with everyone. Also going out with the call is something for the winner to test!

I will be the envy of my training group, yet again! Why train a dog with a DR 85 on your lanyard when you can have a work of art?

Great work as always Brian.

GC, Brian told me about that test call. Don't be slobbering in it too much because I want to run it later.

Thanks everyone!
GC is doing a blind test for me so I can get his unbiased opinion. Since he has not used the "current" generation Rogue, he doesn't know which toneboard is which. I labeled the inserts 1 and 2 so I'll know which is which.
Actually driveby you have the first generation of the Rogue. The toneboard is the same as the current model but your call uses a different tone channel.

That's not a training call, GC; that's a dang meat call. You're gonna like it!

Got it last night. The photos do not do it justice. The barrel is stunning. I need to finish the "side by side" test on the training grounds, as my wife got tired of the process really quick in the living room. Both sound great.

Brian:
I finally got the chance to work that Rouge with the new super secret insert I am not supposed to talk about (did I just talk about it? Ooops) on some birds in the Mississippi opener this weekend.
It gets 'em "lady with a 20 gauge and steel shot" close! (2 hunters not pictured)
Great call! It was a hit with the ducks, and the guys at camp. Still trying to decide about whether or not to dog ear the bottom reed some time.
