No- unless it happened in the last week. That was rumored back early spring. I work with his 1st cousin(Lil Joel) and got him to call him and ask- he said no.........................but things may have changed. I will know by Monday morning though.

I agree- the home page said he sold and is staying on in sales and other.
On the carving and whiskey................i will bring whiskey but why don't you let a group come by your shop and watch you go thru the process and give a quick "Intro to carving 101". The group can provide the color commentary. :D

well, the shops is the garage.......so, bring water and fans b/c it's like 40-11 degrees out right now

ya'll are welcome anytime though. we could go through some thoughts on pattern development (which i need help on), cutting out the pattern on the band saw (which i need help on), carving (i use a foredom right now for the most part - which i need help on by the way), and sanding down (i got this part, hehe).

seriously, i can definitely give a starters version (because i'm still a beginner), if everyone's aware that they ain't gonna see no shang wheeler decoys being produced.

I've always enjoyed my Lil Joel and my nasty boy. I bought my 2 calls probably 5-7 years ago. Loved them both.

Greg did sell Southern Game Calls to a company out of Ohio. But he is not out of the business, he is starting a new company that will have more to offer. Be on the lookout for Hoodwinked Game Calls.
