When and where is it going to be held? Years ago it was at the Extravaganza, which is a week and a half away, but the last few years it has been held at Mean Mallard during their get together.

Last year it was at the event in Drew,MS.

this year as far as i know it will be in drew again during the festival in october.

The Ms. State and Ms Delta Regional will be held on November 6, 2010 at the Delta Wings Waterfowl Festival in Drew. Additionally there will be Junior and Intermediate contests, two-man team, and meat calling contests. The folks in Drew are working hard to make this annual event something special for the Ms. waterfowling community. Put it on your calendar because this years festival and contests should be loads of fun. Whether you compete or just come listen and enjoy the Festival it is a great way to get your motor running for the duck season. For questions about the Festival call the Drew Chamber of Commerce. Any questions that you have about the contests please feel free to call me--Ronnie Raggio at 601 201 2659 ---Judges for this years contest will be Butch Richenback, Rick Dunn, Billy Woods, Bob Westerfield, and ----{dont have judge # 5 yet} We will have great prizes including shotguns. Im gonna make this contest again, last year I had alot of fun! I hope it becomes a big deal there in Drew!

Hopefully Swamprooter will be there this year doing the famous "duck down shuck down" It is a mixture of interpretive dance and duck call harmonizing. It is truely a sight to behold. For all of you that didn't get to witness this last year............you don't want to miss this.

Sorry, I have not been on the forum all that much here lately. I have been workin' on my call routine.

Fred and boochie are no doubt fired up about coming again!

a food vendor i know already has his spot for this year. hes got some good eatin. i gonna make this my first contest if i have a routine ready that is. hope to see yall there

I hope the AL state is not the same day as it was last year.....would like to make it over and see the contest.......

I will be all up in there, if I can find time to get my routine together I am gonna try and call in the intermidiate comp. Hard to throw one together with a 7 mo baby sleeping or climbin up your leg the whole time.
