Need some help/recommendation with layout blind problem

So I pulled out my layout blind today and it has apparently decided to turn a reddish tint of cam. Like it has been faded in the sun. What should I do? It has been through a couple of seasons but I do not want to spend the cash to get a new one. Do you think I could get some tan, brown, black spray paint and breath a season or two back into it? Any reason why spray paint may not work? Any suggestions other than buy a new one?

u should just be able to hit it a little with the spray paint or you could mud it up.

I may be a little on the cheap side and simple but I would definitely take some camo paint to it and not look back.....a can stays in my guide bag at all times...it works wonders in a pinch!

After you brush it up, camo underneath shouldn't be that visible. I have heard of folks spray painting them to blend in on sandbars, so if you want to paint it, it should stick.

you may try cleaning it, often mildew can have a pink or red tint.. I see it on white boat cushions and clean with soft scrub.

Hose it down, and let it dry.
Mud the crud out of it before you put it out.

I bought the field khaki ones they had on sale at BPS last month. Went to hobby lobby and got a piece of grass looking thingy and a can of camo paint, and a couple of bundle of Rafia and went to work. Came out pretty good.

if you put enough grass/corn/rice stubble on it, it won't matter.... bathe it in mud and brush it up. and save the money on spray paint for somethin else

So I started painting my blind last night and the first can basically soaked right through the blind material. I've used about 4 cans of spray paint so far and its getting better. Looks like I will only need 2-3 more cans. This may seem like a lot of paint, but I don't really care since it is cheaper than buying a new blind. Thanks for the input though.
