Yes there nice if you need to keep ice cold for a long time. This topic has come up at least a dozen times, and I was against spending that kind of money for a cooler. I went and bout a 25 quart, and all I can say is WOW!!! There worth there weight in gold. Not only do they keep the ice and whatever is in there cold, there indestructable!!!!

I've got the 35 quart and it's nice. VERY durable and they do keep ice longer than the average cooler. So to answer your question... Yes, they are that good. However, in my opinion the price is a little steep for a cooler. Supply and demand I reckon.... :?

They're great. I have two. If you keep them in a hot place, don't expect them to keep ice forever. It's not a miracle invention, but it's good.

Two free yetis? Somebody is givin hand jooobs...

I got a 25. It's all I could afford but its the most useful size for me. I am using mine for canoe trips as my source of fresh water and the 25 fits nicely.

Like I told others who bought them and were asking me about mine- if you are buying it to hold ice for 6 days you're gonna be disappointed. You can't open and close a cooler constantly and expect it to hold ice. I personally think it's kinda pointless to buy one if your gonna stick beer in it. They're great for certain applications- canoe trips, rodeos, whatever.

You're paying for the quality and longetivity of the product, not the fact that it'll keep beer cold, on perfect ice for days on end. And be prepared to be paranoid. I got stickers all over mine, and have it locked down in my truck. Rest assured it WILL get stolen if you don't do the same.

I have a 65 and a 25 Roadie, both of which were gifts. I got the 65 as a wedding present from my groomsmen last year and the 25 as a 1st anniversary present from my wife a few weeks ago. They are very well built and will keep ice a while, but like others have said its still just a cooler and it will only keep ice for a period of time depending on how much you open it. The thing I like about it is the skids on the underside of all the coolers to keep them from sliding around. I can't believe other manufacturers didn't start doing that a long time ago. The down side to Yeti cooler is they are heavy. A fully loaded 65 is a two man operation.
