I been going through my stuff getting my bow vest ready and checking my stuff. Every year I run across stuff and say...."Why the hell did I buy this?" or "What was I thinkin". Any of yall got anything that sticks out that you just giggle or go "What was I thinkin?. Some of the things I ran across are .......A buch of Browning Persimmon Spray Attractant, Primos Rattle bag, tree steps and 200 pound installer tool ..............bout 500 bottles of scent away, so these aint to bad but Id be curious to see what yall run up on.

Camoflage toilet paper....actually it was a gag gift.

YEARS ago....many MANY years ago (when I was like 14) I bought one of those deer suckers.

What the hell is a deer sucker? I don't much have this problem, I am pretty cheap! However, my wife is a sucker for anything thats on sale, and I mean anything. She would buy a pair of eskimo boots if the price was right.

is that like the big ring pop you got as a kid and ended up with a sticky hand, except you hang it from a tree limb?? i guess it has something other than sorbic acid, monosodium glutimate, partially hydrogenated corn syrup, artificial cherry flavoring and industrial coloring #7 in it.....

This deer stuff is out of control. Makes you wonder how the hell anybody ever killed deer back when they wore wool clothes that were washed with Tide? Its just like a new camo pattern, your old one still works but it ain't the latest and greatest! The all time best might have been that duck scent stuff!

i went in dick's the other day, killin time before my eye follow-up, and stood in awesome wonder at just how much crap, pure crap, there was on the shelves aimed at deer hunters...swamp donkey, c'mere deer and everything such as...... i hope they weren't too offended as i even laughed aloud at some of it, then set the decoy weights and cord back down and walked out.

Code Blue Special / Golden Estrus or something like that !!!! $30 something dollars a bottle..... Wow... supposed to be the best of the best. The bottle I wasted my money on I used during the peak of the rut several years ago... Placed the opened bottle on the ground with the lid off....on the trail the deer were using... Nice lil basket racked six walks by it and never..I mean never made one attempt to smell the bottle.... I knew I had been had then !!!

Years ago, caught my neighbor in my lean-to on some permited land above me. Started to cut the 2x4s in two with my '06 but bit my tongue and watched him for a minute. He got down and picked up a jar that looked like was full of urine. He walked over and poured some on a scrape, hid the jar and walked up the hill. I went and poured the jar out and refilled it with DL's stuff and replaced it. Heard he killed a nice 8 pt later that week somewhere over there. Maybe I need to bottle mine up and sell it....

Not hunting related, but man, what I'd give to be the guy that marketed useless colored rubber bracelets to the public proclaiming "increased balance" etc. A piece of 10 cent rubber for up to 30 bucks! Fools and their money......
