EIC "testing kit"

Postby stmasley » Tue Sep 28, 2010 3:21 pm

I called my vet to set up a time to get one of mine EIC tested. She said that I needed to go ahead and get the "kit" and bring him in when I get it ...

Anyone know where I can get whatever she is talking about??

Click on the link to the University of Minnesota website. Very easily done with a cheek swab.

Steve,

I used the cheek swab, also. Make sure you get the kind the University of Minnesota requires. They are specific as to what kind to use. My vet had them in his clinic.

Yes you must use what they want and also careful because I ordered them and got a box of 100. Now I have plenty of swabs to clean dogs ears with. :?
