RUN LIKE HELL IS AFTER YOU

Had a conversation with him last night about doing some tractor work in exchange for hunting rights on "his" land. He called me and asked if I was interested, said he had 1,500 acres in seperate blocks in south Holmes Cty and needed some help with the food plots. I asked if he owned the land and he said yes. Went on and on about the big bucks they've killed on his place. Sounded like a good deal until the end of the conversation and I asked him his name and he told me Cal, didn't say a last name, which I thought was weird. Told him I would like to see the land before I commit to anything.....anyway, I started thinking and realized who he was....after I talked to trey from this site(the smartest person I know, almost said that w/o laughing) he told me who he was. I guess he's up to his same old tricks....needless to say, I'm not getting involved with that guy.

just to avoid any possible confusion, since cal isn't a real common name, my last name is NOT burwell nor have i ever leased out/rented any hunting land to people.....**(just in case i haven't posted my last name on any pm's)**

Just ask the neihbors around him. I think lilwhitelie is his buddy. They dove hunt together!

I'm good friends with some of his relatives which are fine upstanding citizens for the most part so I have heard countless Calvin stories. Burning hay, leasing other peoles land, stealin cows,.... the list goes on and on.

YEA DONIA.....THAT'S BIG CAL TO SOME...

You need to use this as the perfect time to set him up. Let the authorities know his history.......get him to hire you to do the tractor work....but get him to sign a contract. Then let them nab him one good time for all of us to get a good laugh.

i bumped into that fool in lexington, one time at that little burger shack on the west side of 51. he told me his name and i said that my last name was the same. we determined that we were like 2nd or 3rd cousins or something and he proceeded to tell me about all the property and such that he was into. I asked my dad about him later on that evening and he told me to "stay the hell away from him." That he was a criminal. A detective actually showed up at my house about 10 years ago, looking for him. My dad's first name and mine is John and so is his. Different middle name, though.
