smartweed 2,4 d

have a 2 acre hole choked with smart weed. I think 2,4d will be a good choice to open a landing hole in it. I know it is late in the game and wonder if this is a good choice? how long will it take to knock it down. I can get a 4 wheeler into the area but not a tractor and disc. any thoughts?

This late bout only shot is to burn it down with diquat, or other similar chemical

Ride it down about 2 weeks after the frost gets it. Spraying would be a waste of $ in my opinion this time of year. I just disked some of mine but it is dying or dead already.

thanks for the replies. got out there and drove circles with the ranger. got it knocked down good. sprayed 1 hole after riding around, just to see the difference. today we are getting the rain that we needed and should be filling the area I drove down yesterday. this is good!!
