I have no idea if I've ever brought it up here, but there's a guy connected to Shiloh Chrisian named Walt Williams that runs a service called Pinnacle Preps that "helps" kids with their marketing to prospective colleges. The Fraizer kid that's an Aubbie commit from Shiloh and Dyer were both clients. That mother threatened several Ark sites and Woopig called his bluff.

The real question is how much does a Fig Newton cost?

Every college athelete is probably paid in some way or another. The first thing the Auburn fans will do is blame it on Alabama.

No the ESPN article said MSU contacted the NCAA.

This should all blow over soon.
Supposedly Urban Meyer, Dan Mullen and Bond had a telephone conversation recently to discuss the allegations. Mullen told the two he thought they should move on and let it go, regardless of what was being alleged. Meyer said no, that it needed to get out to the media.
Typical...
Basically, it was a meeting of the left out and left behind. This has been being investigated since the summer. The NCAA would not have allowed Newton to set foot on the field if there were any legs to this story.
WAR DAMN EAGLE!!!

Should we read as "let Auburn go and don't go looking under rocks in Starkville either"?

But seriously, why would any SEC school turn another one in when the bowl money gets split up and it's all about money?

i just got through reading a big sports ill spread on cam..
heres the interesting thing... cam wanted to go to state.. his dad said he wanted him to go to au.. because au had an experienced line coming back (please note so did state).. and au was 2 from atl.. thats true...
heres the part that somewhat perplexing.. most every time you will hear the father say... the decision on where to go to school is up to my son.. he's the one thats got to live with it... however in the case of cam.. sports illu. is reporting that cam newton ended up letting his dad pick his school... the relationship b/t mullen and even mullens wife were big factors in newtons desire to attend state.. yet his dad decided where he would go to school... choosing against his own son's desire.. dad chose au..... the questions is why? is it because he just felt that strongly about gene chizik and au... maybe... or did the mighty dollar come into play... if i was a bettin man from what my gut is tellin me.... i'd taken the latter option..
fishy.. yea... no doubt....

I'm agree biggie and I'm a au fan. Its obvious that money is exchanged w big recruits nowadays. My dad played for au and they got money hand over fist back then. He talked about knowing who to shake hands with during tiger walk and if you played good to always check your shoes after the game. There's no telling how much they get these days. Is it right? No, but its gonna be done. When cam came to au he was riding a scooter; ill just say he's not riding one anymore. You can't give a brotha 200k he's gonna be rockin spinners and a new fur coat within months. I will say this though, if au was 5-4 you wouldn't hear a word about this.
