Please when using a boat ramp, have all your gear in the boat and ready to launch when you back down!

always been a pet peeve of mine as well. I also hate it when people pull out of the water but not out of the ramp lane and sit there unloading/draining their boat.

AMEN!!! This ranks right up there with competition hail calling to woodies, using fake corn, or having an array of flashing LED's trying to attract ducks....

And after you launch, please pull your truck out of the way so others can pull in to launch their boats. Nothing pisses me off more than someone launching the boat and then just pulling straight ahead and parking in the way.

Don't forget to add to let your trailer drain as much water as possible once we get to the freezing temps, cause all that ice can booger up a steep ramp quick come January!

AGREED!!!! Ole dukbum about gave my truck a bath a couple of years ago at a boat ramp. Was iced up at least 12-15 feet above the water line on the ramp. Didn't stop until the back tires went under water.

Hate to say it, but that very thing has happened to us. (I was in the boat when it hit the ramp) Took us about 2 minutes to winch it back on then we were back in business.
It's better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

When you pull up inline for the ramp dim your head lights or turn them off. Dont sit inline with your lights on for 3 hours keeping the truck ahead of you awake.

Don't take a "bigwater" anywhere within "smelling" distance of the ramp!
